Hereditary Hair Loss and Thinning Hair

Hereditary Hair Loss and Thinning Hair

The older I get the more I realize, that hereditary hair loss, isn’t just a problem for men, it’s affects women, too. Growing up I never thought much about hereditary hair loss. I saw the pictures of my dad and uncle, at graduation, when they were completely bald on top. Their dad, my “Pappaw” also had no hair on top of his head, I thought it was just a man thing. Guess what? I was definitely wrong! Hereditary hair loss and thinning hair is a women problem, too.

I have had thin hair all of my life. Now that I am in my forties my hair is thinning more and more. Hereditary hair loss is actually more common than I ever imagined. Thinning hair is part of the natural aging process and  women may begin to notice hair loss as they approach their thirties.

Women’s ROGAINE® Foam for Hereditary Hair Loss

I knew there had to be better options to combat my hereditary hair loss. For years I did nothing about my thinning hair. I guess the fact that my mom also has thin hair should have motivated me to be proactive. My idea was to try and mask the thinning hair with short haircuts and layers, to give a fuller appearance. I think I may have tried every product known to man to give my hair lift and body.  Those attempts, didn’t work and I am just stuck with a lot of product cluttering up my bathroom, collecting dust.

Now that I am closer to 50 than 40, I decided to get proactive and try the only product exclusively for women experiencing hereditary hair loss, Women’s ROGAINE®.  I started a routine with Women’s ROGAINE®  Foam that I will be continuing for the next 12 weeks. Women’s ROGAINE®  5% Minoxidil Topical Aerosol is the first and only FDA-approved, once-daily application hair regrowth brand is the #1 dermatologist-recommended brand for hair regrowth. I treated myself to a new cut and color to mark the occasion. Don’t worry I checked first, Women’s ROGAINE®  is safe and still effective when used on color-treated hair.

I am applying the Women’s ROGAINE®  once a day in the morning, before I leave the house. The foam is applied directly to the scalp and uses an enhanced biodelivery system designed to break down with body heat to deposit actives on the scalp without residue. I brush and style my hair as normal.

If applied directly to the scalp once a day, every day, most women will start regrowing fuller, thicker hair in as little as 12 weeks. New hairs come in up to 48% thicker than before based on mean hair strand diameter. I am putting my trust in Women’s ROGAINE®  Foam to help thwart my hereditary hair loss.

I had my husband take a before picture so we can compare the regrowth progress after 12 weeks. I was shocked by the closeup photo he took. Again, I knew the hair loss was there, but the picture really affirmed that my hair needs all the help it can get. See you in 12 weeks, with the results of the Women’s ROGAINE®  Foam regimen.
