  4. Wow , such timing as this . I went grocery gettin tonite & saw a bag of Split Peas , which instantly made me crave a large bowl of home made Split Pea Soup . I’ve been divorced since 2000 & had never learned to cook . Why, I can burn water nicely , plus I have nearly ruined a couple good pans trying to boil water to do hard boiled eggs & ice tea . So tonite , Split Pea Soup became a goal for me to soon tackle as a meal .. So standing there in the grocery store aisle reading the directions on the bag of peas , I started searching shelves for the various ingredients needed . And then now about 2 hrs later I get this website as an email . So scrolling down your list I find soups . And next I see Split Pea Soup made in a Crock Pot . Now , many of the ingredients you mention are similar to what i had already bought for the soup dish I had in mind already . Now tell me that all this isn’t meant to be . I can’t wait to savor my new adventure in life as a new career of learning how to cook at last (maybe) . God bless
